care-a-van
Care-A-Van is a food-focused program that provides a variety of resources to those in need while fostering excitement over fresh, local foods. Care-A-Van provides nutrition education, arts and crafts, books, music, health screenings, food demonstrations, community resources, and much more at the events we partner with. We bring our Care-A-Van events to a variety of community settings such as farmers markets, community potlucks, arts festivals, and school events. Thank you to our program sponsor CareSource!

Care-A-Van is being offered the 2nd Saturdays, May-October 10am-1pm at the Coit Road Farmers Market, 15000 Woodworth Road, East Cleveland, 44110

MOBILE FARM STAND
Food Strong recently launched our Mobile Farm Stand. We renovated a pop-up camper into a portable space from which to sell our freshly-grown produce and value-added products. We kept the kitchen on the camper in order to offer culinary demonstrations and tastings. We focus our sales in communities with little-to-no access to fresh food retail options. We accept incentives such as SNAP, WIC, Senior Coupons, and Produce Perks.
Thank you to the Fun(d) First Women's Giving Circle and Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Northeast Ohio for helping us bring life to this new initiative
Email Info@FoodStrong.org if you are interested in partnering with or selling your local products at the market.
